Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland 2009
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is based on the book by the same name written by Lewis Carroll on one bright summer day. The story begins with Alice and her sister getting some fresh air. Her sister is reading aloud while Alice dozes. She sees a white rabbit and her adventure begins when she decides to follow it down the rabbit hole. This story is not a Disney version. Instead, it is written from the text and chapters of the book. This intricate story comes to life with Alice meeting the Queen of Hearts, The Caterpillar, The Cheshire Cat, the Dormouse, March Hare, and Mad Hatter. This two-act ballet originally premiered in 2000 and is composed by Brian St. John and choreographed by Kristin Kingsley.
